   Generators Feedback: If you are replacing a power supply you can just take out your old and look I sure dell could tell you also.

   Generators Feedback: Take your old one out of your computer and take it with you when you go to buy the new one. Not all power supplies are the same, but they are similar. Make sure the out put is the same or more as the old one ( if the old one was rated 350 watts get 400 or 450 watts to allow for upgrades). Check the cables lengths to make sure that they are as long and have the same number and type of connectors.

   Just a word of caution, the power supply connects to everything. Take notes and/or label the location of connections for when you reinstall the new one, and be careful when unplugging and plugging the connectors or you will be buying a motherboard to.

   Generators Feedback: If you are going to pull the old one out yourself then take it to a comp shop and they will give you one (better) to suit - Or get a pro to swap it for a few more dollars - Power supplies are a cheap unit but get a stronger one than the one you remove -

   They will suggest the right PSU for your PC.
   PSU’s work with any kind of PC-depending upon configuration & power requirements.
