Can you answer Funky Munky’s question about Generators?:
I had an old Compaq lying around and I took the power supply out to add to my desktop. It’s a Gateway GT5028 and i have only replaced the motherboard [nothing big, just the same as factory]. I want to add the power supply to my computer to have two power supplies. The extra power supply is a 14-pin connection. What can I do? Thanks!

When I install the power supply into my computer case do I need the power supply supporter bar?

Can you answer acg651’s question about Generators?:
When I put the power supply into my computer case do I need that bar that stretches from side to side at the top of the case? Or, are there screws that I would use to screw the power supply to the case? Will it stay in place even if I don’t have a power supply supporter bar? How do I get the power supply to stay in place? Thank you.
